Graduate / Intermediate Landscape Architect

Kūmānu Environmental is expanding its Landscape Architecture team!
We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Landscape Architect to join us in Nelson. Working across the South Island with a diverse portfolio that includes work in both the public and private sectors.
We have a strong reputation in a range of areas including master planning, urban design, environmental restoration projects (both large and small scales), civic spaces, government projects, community and private play spaces, commercial projects and residential spaces.
We deliver a client focused, bespoke service creating exceptional spaces that help shape the environment for all those who use them. Our office is an exciting, collaborative space with a creative and fun team.
You may be at Graduate level looking to launch your career or at Intermediate level with a couple of years’ experience, seeking opportunities for growth and development. If you are a like-minded individual, with a passion for creating great spaces we’d love to hear from you.
Ideally candidates will have the following skills and attributes;
- Passionate and driven to design and create innovative spaces or contribute to the success of the team.
- Motivated self-starter with a willingness to learn and develop your career.
- Client focused, with a positive mindset to growth and great communication skills.
- A desire to protect and enhance the whenua and embrace the opportunity to grow or enhance your tikanga knowledge and principles.
- A Bachelor of Landscape Architecture
- An understanding of construction practices and technical documentation relevant to your experience level.
