Entries close March 14 2020
Now that the Resene New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architecture 2019 Awards have been decided it’s time to turn your thoughts to entering next year’s World Landscape Architect awards.
Now in their fourth year, they seek to honour landscape architects around the world, recognising the innovative work of those in the profession. Students can also enter.
LandLAB’s design for a floating social and ecological activation device for Auckland’s Waitemata Harbour picked up the Merit prize in the conceptual category. Island Motutere is a research and experimental project exploring how the ideas of tactical urbanism, place-making and strategic activation can be applied to, and rejuvenate an urban waterfront.
Entries for the awards close on March 14 2020. For more details visit the WLA website.
All landscape architects who have graduated from or currently studying in landscape architecture at a university are eligible to enter the WLA Awards.
